Autumn is such a beautiful season. The shadows fall lovingly through the blinds and the trees bestow their glorious leaves to the compost heap. The whole earth seems to exhale and take a respite from toiling in the sun.
I know what you mean. I was marvelling the other day at how awesome God is in His timing. His timing of the 4 seasons... (I had reached a point of "enough with this hot, sweaty weather!" and before I was fully cognizant of it autumn had arrived. My summer loving plants were hunkering down, leaves were dropping and I was seeing reds, oranges and yellows - so pleasantly pretty (I love to use alliterations!) And whilst I love these colours, I am looking forward to the rains (especially if I can be snuggled under a duvet with a good book when it starts pouring!)
