For the tea lovers

I love tea and cute tea infusers, as I sometimes like to use loose tea.  These two are just the best and would be perfect on any Christmas list...

Weekend

The weekend was this...

Wayne arrived home from Spain at the start of the weekend!! Yah!!

Rebecca studied all weekend... poor baby!

Wayne made Apple & Peach Crumble, which was amazing! Yah! We finished it so fast!!
All in all, a good one... just counting down the exam days,
then its summer break and we will jingle all the way!

Grandma's apples

Stewed Apples are what my darling great-grandmother made often for us when I was a child and making it always reminds me of her. Soft and sweet, just like her.

Mom's Christmas Baking

My mom always bakes for Christmas early in November and all her fruitcakes, german christmas cakes and biscuits are baked!

This is one of the most delicious things you can eat - any. time. of. the. year (if you like marzipan, which I do)!

Watching the snail race

I love it when we have some down-time in the garden at the end of the day.
Normally a snail is regarded as a pest but Ruby and I were enchanted this week.

Rebecca even made them have a race up the wall.

Hanging out outside, looking into her bedroom.
