Yesterday, mothers day

The day started with a lovely, slow breakfast outdoors in wine country.  The weather was perfect for it.

And in the evening Rebecca and I made veg sushi... yummy.  A very good day.

I miss reading to Rebecca... honestly, the best of times. She loved Enid Blyton.

We would gather on the couch each afternoon, under a blanket, with a cup of cocoa.

Now she reads much faster than I.

I was sceptical when I heard about Golden Milk (or Tumeric Latte) but its so good and easy... heat milk, add turmeric, honey, cinnamon and a tiny bit of black pepper.  Lovely just before bed. Yum.
