I told my friend that I would never be doing this again. It meant intense digging, keeping all the fresh kitchen scraps, cuttings, leaves etc (this piles up quickly), then all the layering takes place, and watering. Then you start the next one. No, not for me!
BUT now I have an enormous fertile mass of compost to show for it. It's one of the most amazing things I have ever seen, so maybe it was a worth it...
