Humble beginnings in the garden

Spring: Its all beginning in the garden... the lemon, orange, apple and plum tree are 

all full of flowers and bees.

My spinach is growing beautifully.  This is such an easy thing to grow.  Well worth it.

Miracle broad beans

So many beans picked yesterday.  We then shelled them and put some into bags to freeze.

These sturdy elongated fluffy pods and tender little attachment for each bean are simply amazing to me.
