My sister highlighted this scripture (romans 12.12) to me a few days ago and its been in my mind since then.
Yesterday I was thinking, what if God had delivered Joseph (the guy with the amazeballs coat) out of the pit on day two, he would only have delivered one man but God said, wait, because he wanted to deliver many more.... Joseph's whole family and a nation!! We always want speedy results but God has a greater perspective.
That's why we need faith and steadfastness. I like what Beth Moore said once, 'When God says no, its actually for a bigger yes ultimately.'
