“Hosanna!” was the word that began the most explosive 7 days in all of eternity. Never would there be a week, nor a word, that would so profoundly impact every life in recorded history.
~ Carol McLeod
"And the multitudes that went before Him, and that followed, cried saying 'Hosanna to the son of David. Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest" Matthew 21.9
Hosanna means 'Oh save now' or 'Please save' and HE HAS!! So that's why it is such a cry of adoration and praise! He has HOSANNA(ed) to the HIGHEST! And at this special time of year, we say with all the voices of history, "Hosanna to our King."
It was simply lovely to still be sitting in pajamas at 09h30, holding a bowl of fruit, nuts and seeds! Wayne bought me a new blender on Saturday, so it was a powerhouse smoothie as soon as we got home, with beets, kale, kelp, celery, grapes, ginger and apple. Really Delish!
A spontaneous walk on the beach as the sun was setting was such good therapy! We were all invigorated and went home in the dark, with sand between our toes and happy.
Wayne and I love chilli, and this recipe is super easy.
270g chillies, deseeded and chopped
1/2 can chopped tomato
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup white wine vinegar
Simmer all for about 15-20 minutes (I used the long chillies with thicker skin, if you use a thinner skinned one then reduce the cooking time). Let cool for about 10 minutes.
Blend and place in sterilised jars while still warm.
A great read... sometimes a bit sad to think of how much the environment is changing but we cannot bury our heads in the sand. With this kind of information, we can choose more wisely.
